Rest in Peace Sweet Cousin

b. 2/26/1978 - d. 1/31/2011

"We met with my specialist for a check up and he informed us that the tumor was cancerous--a rare form called synovial sarcoma. This type of cancer appears in the spaces between the ducts (as opposed to most cancers that appear in the ducts) and frequently has a pseudo-covering that causes it to appear to be self-contained.

Armed with hundreds of people praying for us, supporting us, and cheering us on, we are prepared to work with the doctors to bring about a positive outcome and add my name to the growing number of cancer survivors in the world.

God has gifted our family with tremendous blessings--and this is just another one--even though the wrapping is different than we would have chosen. All things have been created through Him and for His glory (Colossians 1), and so we praise Him in the storm and pray that our lives may be in service to God wherever He leads." – Rebekah
